Energía de la Comunidad / Community Energy

A mural commissioned in 2018 by Beacon Development Group on Plaza Roberto Maestas, on Beacon Hill. I worked with after school children at El Centro de la Raza to make art and gather thoughts and images on the theme of “love for my community.” I then created a mural that gives voice to the children’s ideas; and beautifies the every day passage-way into the building, also seen from the public space of the Plaza. See more on the process/project on Beacon Development’s blog.
